COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Initiative (CVDI)

An ITPC-led effort to make COVID vaccines more accessible to underserved communities and people experiencing homelessness. Volunteers include LAC + USC physicians collaborating with Department of Health Services (DHS), city councilmen, and a Systemwide Mental Assessment Response Team (SMART). CVDI teams walk tent- to-tent, in Los Angeles neighborhoods to answer vaccine related questions and quickly facilitate vaccine distribution events.
